Payment Information
What is Transaction Fee?
Transaction Fee is small additional fees (other than base subscription fee) calculated based on monthly Number of Orders of Personalized Products AND Orders of Products Managed & Created by Dastomize Platform. We briefly refer to the orders defined above as Chargeable Qualified Orders (CQO), or simply Qualified Orders (QO). You can easily estimate your Usage Cost here using our built-in cost calculator.
You only need to pay a small fee per chargeable qualified order in order to automate your workflow by using all of our useful tools, for example Automatic Order Fulfillment System, App Integrations, Ready-to-Print Rendered Files, Product Creation, Upsell / Cross-sell Marketing Automation Tools, etc… You won’t have to do repetitive and tedious tasks, or hire additional people to handle when your business scales. This will really save you a lot of time (and money of course) so that you can focus more on growing your business faster and substainably.
Once you hit your free order limit (20 orders), you will be charged a transaction fee in USD for each extra Qualified Order at the end of the subscription cycle based on the following tiered pricing formula:
- Free transaction fee for first 20 orders
- $0.4 transaction fee up to 200 orders
- $0.3 transaction fee up to 1,000 orders
- $0.2 transaction fee up to 5,000 orders
- $0.1 transaction fee from 5.001 orders and above.
For example, you will be charged as below if your processed order quantity is:
- Example 1: 500 Chargeable Qualified Orders
Transaction Fee = $0.40*(200-20 Free orders) + $0.30*(300 orders) = US$162.00 - Example 2: 1980 Chargeable Qualified Orders
Transaction Fee = $0.40*(200-20) + $0.30*(800) + $0.20*(980) = US$508.00 - Example 3: 7699 Chargeable Qualified Orders
Transaction Fee = $0.40*(200-20) + $0.30*(800) + $0.20*(4000) + 0.10*(2699) = US$1381.90
What currencies does Dastomize accept?
All customers are billed in U.S. dollars. If you use a different currency, the price will be converted according to the current exchange rate by the Issuing Bank. In addition, there might be currency conversion fees or foreign transaction fees if you use a foreign currency.
What are the payment option?
We support all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover) and PayPal.
Is there a charge for integration?
By paying the basic subscription fee, you are eligible for using FULL features, with unlimited open source stores (except Shopify, BigCommerce) and integrations. Plus the transaction fee, which is based on your store’s monthly qualified orders.
We currently support the platforms: WooCommerce, Shopify (coming soon), APIs and more upcoming platforms.
Are test orders counted in Dastomize?
If you’d like to create test orders, please enable Sandbox on your storefront so that Dastomize will not count them in. Unfortunately, Dastomize cannot automatically identify the test orders at the moment. Thus, please kindly contact our Customer Success Team for assistance if you created test orders.
How are monthly orders calculated?
Monthly orders are counted based on orders which are fulfilled by Dastomize. It comprises in-app orders and outside-app orders.
- In-app orders are orders of products that are created and personalized by Dastomize.
- Outside-app orders are manually imported (because they are not placed on the storefront website with Dastomize integration) and processed via Dastomize.
What does "free two months in the Yearly Plan" mean?
It implies that if you purchase the Yearly Plan, you will only have to pay for 10 months; we are willing to give you two (02) free months as a token of our gratitude for your long-term faith in Dastomize.
Can you give me an example of how Dastomize's pricing would work?
Your Dastomize bill has two parts: a Basic Fee and Transaction Fee.
The Basic Fee is a monthly charge of $39.00, or $390.00 per year (if you choose to purchase the Yearly Plan).
The Transaction Fee is calculated as the examples in the “What is Transaction Fee?” question above.
For example, you purchase Dastomize monthly plan and process 7699 orders (example 3) in that month:
- You will be charged $29.00 at the START of the subscription month.
- Then you will be charged US$1381.90 at the END of the subscription month.
Is Transaction Fee charged for orders with products that were not personalized by Dastomize?
Transaction fee will be charged for all orders that are fulfilled or processed (production design file is rendered) by Dastomize system.
Therefore, if the order is not processed by Dastomize, you will surely not be charged.
Will I be charged extra fee if I change the order or re-render the production design file?
No, you won’t. You can render the design file of each order unlimited times.

What is Dastomize Plus (add-ons)?
Dastomize Plus is a bundle of useful tools such as:

What happens to my website if I terminate a plan or Dastomize Plus (add-ons)?
If you choose not to renew your plan, personalize features will be locked on your storefront website and you cannot create new personalized products via Dastomize anymore.
Meanwhile, your account is possible to access, previous production design files and order information are still reserved. However, you will have 10 days remaining operative till we officially freeze your account.
If you choose not to renew Dastomize Plus (add-ons), we will officially freeze the tools in your new billing cycle. Your products using Dastomize Plus will also not work on your storefront.
